While pursuing your passion is heavily promoted on social media, many of us often feel uncertain about when and how to actually embark on that journey. Success stories are typically shared in a way that emphasizes the certainty of making the right decisions, but they often lack completeness. Samar highlights the importance of accumulating a diverse set of skills, knowledge, and tools, regardless of the short-term challenges. Ultimately, the experiences you gather will serve as your guiding compass, helping you reflect on everything you’ve done and discover where you truly feel a sense of belonging.
Uncertainty, doubts, and the fear of failure are all integral parts of any journey. Even when you believe you’ve made the right choices, what matters most is allowing your passion to propel you forward, your expertise to facilitate the process, and your determination to serve your community and contribute to something greater than yourself. This combination can provide the consistency and discipline needed to navigate your own path.
Samar is a licensed pharmacist who has worked with high-profile international pharmaceutical companies, where she mastered sales, marketing, and community pharmacy for both retail and clinical practice. Simultaneously, she pursued lecturing at the faculty of pharmacy at Tishreen University for three years. Additionally, she founded the Superior Pharmacists Office (SPO), a pharmaceutical customer service office that provides services and in-depth practical training programs. SPO is also a place for innovation and building various career pathways within the pharmacy field. Samar is pursuing her PhD in pharmaceutical chemistry at Debrecen University and holds an MSc in Drug Design and Quality Assurance from Tishreen University.
