Rainforest Artesian Water — Why Volcanic Water Doesn't Always Mean High Minerals

Most people assume volcanic geology means mineral-heavy water. Rainforest Artesian Water from Costa Rica proves the opposite. Sourced from 12 artesian springs on a 164-hectare protected rainforest property in the cloud-covered mountains of northeast Costa Rica, this water filters through volcanic rock and arrives at the surface with one of the lowest TDS readings I have measured on this channel. The reason is residence time, not rock type. Costa Rica receives enormous rainfall, the aquifer recharges rapidly, and the water simply does not stay underground long enough to dissolve significant minerals. The result is a clean, light, naturally pressurized water with zero pumping required — and a company built around sustainability, reforestation, and zero plastic packaging.
