This video shows many different zoom stages of the new professional camcorder from Panasonic, the Panasonic HC-VXF1. Zooming in on a wild deer and some thistles. I used a Manfrotto carbon tripod for this demonstration. Setting 4K video. Not sure why they bother doing the digital zoom, as you can see it's pretty useless.
The video camcorder has a 24x optical zoom, which goes up to 32x on the i-zoom and then the digital zoom goes up to 1500x.
The camcorder has a new MOS sensor and bright F1.8 lens and is 25mm wide. There is an Electronic viewfinder and a manual ring.
Battery Warning: 3rd party batteries don't seem to work with this camcorder. I tried several that I still had from an older camcorder! Same model no., but they just don't work! So you're stuck with buying original batteries and this camcorder eats them up quickly! Or use a battery pack with USB cable, that does work!
