🔹 Section 420 PPC – Cheating & Dishonestly Inducing Delivery of Property
This section applies when a person cheats someone and dishonestly obtains money, property, or valuable security.
✅ Punishment: Imprisonment and fine.
🔹 Section 468 PPC – Forgery for the Purpose of Cheating
If someone creates fake documents with the intention to cheat or commit fraud, it is an offence under this section.
✅ Punishment: Imprisonment and fine.
🔹 Section 471 PPC – Using a Forged Document as Genuine
Using a forged document while presenting it as genuine is also a punishable offence.
✅ Punishment: Same as forgery.
