Victoria records lowest rate of new COVID-19 infection in months | ABC News

The state has reported 37 new cases of coronavirus over the past 24 hours, with six deaths.

In metropolitan Melbourne, daily case average needs to fall below 50 in a 14 day period to move to the second step in the Government's roadmap to easing restrictions. Yesterday the average was 65.3.

State Premier Daniel Andrews and Dr Brett Sutton gave a press conference.
