VERY RARE! CGC cpr project. 1943 "Canadian White" Grand Slam Comics v2 #5 from Anglo-American publishing, reprinting Captain Marvel Jr 1 for the Candian market. Due to WW2 paper rationing Canada could not import Comics from 1941-1947. New publishing companies were created to print them domestically to meet the high demand for comics during war period.
Made from cheap paper stock very few have survived.
These books were a primary source for WW2 propaganda and read by all ages. this period would inspire a new generation of comic creators to launch new Candian hero comics in the 1970
