Why Tesla Is ANNIHILATING Autonomy

Tesla just released a massive Full Self Driving update which Elon Musk claims will make level 5 autonomy feature complete. Despite this, the notion that the competition is not far behind has remained popular. However, this is not true once considering Tesla's radically different approach which gives them the upper hand in reaching fully autonomous vehicles. Tesla's use of regular cameras as opposed to LIDAR based systems has allowed them to practice great control when it comes to interpreting the surroundings of the car. Similarly, their non-reliance on HD maps let their cars drive on new roads without prior mapping unlike offerings from Google. This video explains the various pros and cons of Tesla's full-self driving system and why Tesla will continue to destroy the competition in regards to fully autonomous cars.
