2022 New York Jets Roster | NY Jets Roster Breakdown with JetNation
On this episode of our NY Jets Podcast, JetNation Radio, our very own Greenbean joins Dylan and Alex for a special episode on the strengths and weaknesses of the NY Jets roster.
Greenbean shares his thoughts on the recent additions to the Jets Ring of Honor as well as his overall perspective on the offseason acquisitions.
Special thanks go out to our long time sponsor, MILE Social a NJ digital marketing agency. They help us with our online presence and social media.
The New York Jets Roster is a list of all the players who are currently on the team. It is important for a football team to have a roster so that fans and bettors can know who is playing for which team. The roster also helps to keep track of how many players each team has. The Jets Roster is updated every year after the NFL Draft and through waiver claims throughout the year. The new rookies are given a chance to compete for a spot on the team. If they do not make the team, they are cut and their name is removed from the roster. There are 53 spots on an NFL roster and only 46 of those spots can be active on game day. The other 7 spots are reserved for players who are on Injured Reserve (IR) or Suspended list. Some of the Jets' most popular players all time include: Darrelle Revis (CB), Joe Namath (QB), Emerson Boozer (RB), Dennis Byrd (DE), Curtis Martin (RB), Joe Klecko (DL) and Wayne Chrebet (WR).
