Even if I am not chosen, this opportunity gave me the strength to tell a story that is very personal to me. A story that describes my weaknesses and fears. It felt great to have created it and shared it with others rather than keeping it all stored inside.
I was frustrated at first as I had no friends to help me create something for the challenge. I decided to go the animation route so that I could do everything myself.

The irony of inhabiting a planet with more than 6 billion people on it
yet not a single soul stopping to see if your stars still shine through the darkness
but on that I was wrong;
and one day a person I keep close to my heart told me a quote from a poem
A smile began to grow on my face
finally feeling like now was the time and earth was the place
Like magic, that one sentence freed the monsters from my mind.
She said, "if winter comes, can spring be far behind?"."

SPANISH TRANSLATION:
"No hay cosa peor que perderse mientras está tan desesperado por encontrar,
Cada día sólo lleva en espera de que alguien o algo a entrar en razón.
Tal vez una palabra de consejo, un rayo de esperanza, o la voluntad para luchar en
cualquier cosa para ayudar a poner a los demonios a dormir después se pone el sol hasta el amanecer.
La ironía de habitar un planeta con más de 6 mil millones de personas en él
sin embargo, ni una sola alma parar para ver si sus estrellas aún brillan en la oscuridad
