Dark Souls - No Hit/Death Run (World's First)

On February 14, 2016, The Happy Hob completed his challenge run for Dark Souls. For this challenge you have to beat the game without taking a single hit from an enemy. After weeks of trying, he finally made it to the end. Making him the first person ever to beat Dark Souls without getting hit once. This video is the complete run, originally streamed on Twitch.

The rules for the run are as follows:
- You can't die, with the exception of the scripted death by Seath in Duke's Archives
- You can't be hit by any enemy
- You can't be hit by any boss
- You can't be hit by objects causing damage (like spikes in The Catabombs)
- You can't be hit by enviromental damage (lava, lightning)
- Magic is not allowed (no spells, buffs or magic attacks)
- Blocking hits with a shield is not allowed (as it counts as a hit)
- Successfully parrying an attack is allowed (the enemy doesn't directly hit the player)
- Taking fall damage is allowed, so falling off cliffs or stairs is okay, dying because of the fall is not
- Taking damage from certain items is allowed (Symbol of Avarice, Dusk Crown Ring)
- Taking poison damage from the environment is allowed in Blighttown
These rules make it possible to beat Dark Souls, since some of the exceptions are needed to complete the game.
