Detection of partial discharges (PD) for in-service inspection of high voltage (HV) equipment, such as HV transmission lines, power transformers and gas insulated switch gears (GIS)

The fault detection of high-voltage transmission lines and distribution systems is a big challenge for insulation maintenance personnel. The main problem is the arc phenomenon.
