🥒 July 24 Allotment tour and refreshing our wood chip paths 🪵

A quick visit turned into a 3 hour wheelbarrow workout, but I was able to help some other allotment holders get some wood chip. We’ve had a very productive year with courgette, cucumbers, and reddish but like most other growers lettuce has been sporadic. Were most looking forward to our sweetcorn bed which also has cucumbers and squash in to replicate the three sisters ethos of growing and of course we’re excited for our first allotment melon 🍈
