SEGRETO - Ric Segreto [Nonstop Playlist]
The official nonstop playlist of "SEGRETO" album by Ric Segreto.
Fil-Am good looks and a sweet singing voice, Ric Segreto was the prototypical male balladeer of his time. But it was the songs from his self-titled album “Segreto” that made a legend out of the singer.
“Segreto” opens strongly with a pair of Odette Quesada written tunes in “Give Me A Chance,” and “Don’t Know What To Say (Don’t Know What To Do)” that has since become all time love song classics. Ditto the Gerry Paraiso song gem “Loving You.”
OPM fans also swear by Segreto’s rendering of deep album cuts such as “Angela,” “Come Back To Me,” and “Do Ya, Do Ya Ever, Do Ya?” As well as the pair of Tagalog songs recorded here by Segreto in “Nang Dahil Sa’Yo,” and the Levi Celerio-tweaked lyrics of “Kahit Konting Pagtingin.”
In all, a listing of the greatest OPM ballads won’t be complete without a handful of Ric Segreto songs. And most of them, and more are included in this special vinyl re-issue of the long sought after “Segreto” album from Vicor Records.
