Adding a small solar panel to a motion sensing exterior light
I added a small 5.5 volt 100ma solar panel to my exterior motion sensing LED light to extend the time between charges. A small Schottky diode 1N5817 is put between the solar panel and the battery pack. I will add some quick connectors so I can easily disconnect the light should I need to take it down. Do this as your own risk.
