In 1603, one of England's greatest Queens died. Queen Elizabeth I was the English monarch who sentenced Mary Queen of Scots to death and also defeated the Spanish Armada. However in her final years she became down and refused to fight illness and she gave up. Inside of Richmond Palace the Queen succumbed to her plight, and following this she was buried inside of Westminster Abbey.
