VIDEO: High speed police chase and crash in Middletown

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio (WKRC) - Cruiser cam video shows a dramatic high speed chase in Warren County. Troopers say the driver running from them is 17-years-old and was likely under the influence.

He sped away from a traffic stop on June 5 on I-75 in Franklin Township, then raced at speeds reaching 100 miles per hour, running red lights and dodging other vehicles, until crashing into an innocent driver at Central Avenue and Bellmonte Street in Middletown.

Both the teen and the innocent driver, Courtney Tanner, suffered serious injuries. A passenger in Tanner's car suffered minor injuries.

Troopers say the teen is from Sydney, Ohio, where the car he was in was reported stolen.
