Preview: Using Commodore/Atari joysticks with your emulator #shorts

Here is a brief preview of a project I am wrapping up! I built the universal DB9-to-USB joystick adapter from the specs shared by "Retronic Design" and use it to play some games on an emulated Commodore 64. This adapter will convert the signals from just about any 9-pin/DB9 retro game controller to a USB HID-compliant game controller. In other words, it turns your old joystick or paddles into a proper USB device!

To be continued in a future video... (where we'll build the circuit, program the circuit's microcontroller, and demonstrate what the adapter can do).
