District Administration Doda and Health Services Jammu, in collaboration with 26 RR, organized a Mega Health Camp at Village Phagsoo, Block Thathri, providing vital medical services to more than 300 patients. Under the directions of Deputy Commissioner Doda, Sh. Harvinder Singh (IAS), and guidance of Director Health Services Jammu, Dr. Abdul Hamid Zargar, the camp focused on maternal and child health, chronic disease care, elderly support, and free medicine distribution. The initiative, supervised by CMO Doda Dr. Tanveer Ahmed and BMO Thathri Dr. Shakeel Ahmed Kichloo, brought essential healthcare to this far-flung region, earning immense appreciation from the local community.”

On the directions of the Worthy Deputy Commissioner Doda, Sh. Harvinder Singh (IAS), and under the guidance of the Director Health Services Jammu, Dr. Abdul Hamid Zargar, a Mega Health Camp was successfully organized today at Village Phagsoo, Block Thathri, in collaboration with CO 26 RR.
The event was held under the supervision of the Chief Medical Officer Doda, Dr. Tanveer Ahmed, and BMO Thathri, Dr. Shakeel Ahmed Kichloo.

The camp received an overwhelming response from the local residents, with over 300 patients availing various healthcare services, including general medical check-ups, screening for non-communicable diseases, ANC check-ups, counseling sessions, and distribution of free medicines.
Special attention was given to maternal and child health, elderly care, and chronic disease management. Additionally, 10 Vav Vandana cards were generated for eligible beneficiaries on the spot.

A dedicated medical team from Health Block Thathri, supported by the medical staff of the Army unit, ensured smooth and quality service delivery. Dr. Arpit (AMC 26 RR) provided crucial medical consultation, ensuring comprehensive healthcare coverage for attendees.

The local community expressed deep gratitude to the District Administration, Health Department, and 26 RR for bringing essential health services to their doorstep, especially in this far-flung region.

The Health Department reiterated its commitment to conducting more such outreach programs to enhance healthcare access and improve health outcomes in remote areas.

The camp concluded in the presence of Sh. Akther Hussain Quazi, DPO Doda, who appreciated the tireless efforts of the entire health team for their dedication and excellent service delivery.
