In this week’s video, I’m taking you guys out on the trail while giving a complete walkthrough of my off-road lighting setup on my Colorado ZR2. I’ve had a ton of questions about what lights I’m running, how everything is mounted, what I actually use on the trail, and whether all these upgrades are worth the money. So I figured it was time to break everything down and show you exactly how my setup works in a real off-road environment.

We’ll go over every light currently installed on the truck, including how they’re mounted, where they’re aimed, why I chose them, and what purpose they serve when I’m out exploring trails, overlanding, camping, and rock crawling. Whether you’re building your first off-road rig or looking to upgrade your current lighting setup, hopefully this video gives you some ideas for your own build.

Instead of just talking about the lights in the driveway, we’re hitting the trails so you can see them in action. I’ll show how each light performs, where they help the most, and how they improve visibility both on and off the trail. From navigating rough terrain after sunset to spotting obstacles, washouts, wildlife, and trail markers, having the right lighting setup can completely change your off-road experience.
