Looking at my toddler, I often wonder: What will the workplace even look like when he's older? The skills we value today might be obsolete tomorrow.

The most important thing we can teach the next generation is adaptability. But this isn't just on the individual; it’s on the companies, too. When a workforce is loyal and dedicated, the right thing to do; and the smart thing; is to offer them the support and training they need to evolve alongside the technology.

We don't need "disposable" employees; we need empowered ones. When companies like IKEA choose to retrain rather than replace, they create a culture of security that actually fuels innovation.
