Setting Up an Equilibar Vacuum Regulator with an Electronic Pilot

This video explains how to set up an Equilibar EVR vacuum regulator (http://www.equilibar.com/PDF/Equilibar-EVR_Series-Vacuum_Regulators_and_Valves.pdf) with a QPV electronic vacuum regulator acting as the pilot (http://www.equilibar.com/PDF/Equilibar-QPV-Electronic_Pressure_Regulator.pdf) electronic pilot regulator.

This video is a handy supplement to the installation and maintenance literature for the Equilibar EVR series vacuum regulators. Michael explains the port locations and function of the base EVR regulator, the manually adjusted pilot regulator, and the electronic vacuum pilot regulator. An advantage of the Equilibar EVR system is that the manually operated pilot and the electronic pilot valves may be used interchangeably. The base vacuum regulator simply mimics the vacuum pressure that is applied to its pilot port. This pilot pressure (vacuum) may come from either the manual or electronic valve. This is really useful as the manual regulator can be used for set up and troubleshooting, while the more sophisticated electronic pilot can be installed later.
