Engine Power Basics - Why Start With Airflow?
My previous video stated that airflow is the starting point for making power, so to answer some questions I set out why it's airflow that we concentrate on first before fuel and ignition
The very core of increasing power - for making the vehicle faster or for improving its fuel consumption, is ensuring that there is enough oxygen present to efficiently burn the fuel. With modern vehicles it is easy to alter fuel and timing, but these won't give extra power unless we have first ensured that the supply of oxygen into the cylinder is good enough.
