Autodesk PowerMill में Roughing Toolpath बनाने के लिए नीचे आसान स्टेप-by-स्टेप तरीका दिया है 👇
🔹 Step 1: Model Import करें
File → Import Model
अपना 3D Model (IGES/STEP/STL आदि) ओपन करें।
🔹 Step 2: Block Create करें
Roughing से पहले Block बनाना जरूरी है।
Model → Block → Calculate
Offset (जैसे 2–5 mm) दें।
OK करें।
👉 Block वही material है जिसे मशीन काटेगी।
🔹 Step 3: Tool Create करें
Tool → Create Tool
Roughing के लिए सामान्यतः tip cutter चुनें।
Tool Diameter, Length, Holder details भरें।
Feed & Speed सेट करें।
🔹 Step 4: Roughing Toolpath बनाएं
Toolpath → 3D Area Clearance (सबसे common roughing strategy)
Tool select करें।
Block select करें।
Strategy चुनें:
Offset
Raster
Spiral
🔹 Step 5: Important Parameters सेट करें
Stepdown (Axial Depth) – जैसे 2mm या material के हिसाब से
Stepover – Tool diameter का 40–60%
Stock to Leave – 0.2–0.5 mm (Finishing के लिए material छोड़ें)
Tolerance – 0.01 या 0.02 mm
🔹 Step 6: Calculate करें
✔️ Calculate दबाएँ
✔️ Toolpath generate हो जाएगा
🔹 Step 7: Simulation Check करें
Simulate Toolpath
Gouge या collision check करें
🔥 Extra Tip (Production Work के लिए)
Hard material में Adaptive Roughing use करें (अगर version में available हो)।
Large cavity में Rest Roughing use करें।
