The Last One. Always loved this song when I was younger, even though I didn't know what it was called or who it was by, so I just called it "45" (I was a bright little kid).

In full honesty, my goal was to make this video feel 'fresh'. The Picture-in-Picture jokes/ gags/ sketches/ quips, or whatever you wanna call them, were sparked off by the 'clap' bit in my "Friends Theme Song" cover/remix, then this developed into the 'rap' sections that I included in Will Smith's "Miami". So this is basically just a development of that.

The "Miami" 'rap' was filmed on the same day that the Cowbell/ Tambourine gags were filmed back in November 2013, hence why my hair is much longer (I'm actually shocked that the hair length difference isn't AS noticeable).

Free-Running was done by myself and Ruairi Grew (he's much better than me).

Fun Fact (depending on your definition of the word 'fun'); I originally filmed and recorded etc. this track back in November 2013 which was scheduled for a 2014 New Year-ish release. Even though I had the track completely finished and ready for release, I decided to re-do it in January 'cos I didn't think it was "good".

And so at the end of January 2014 I re-did this track in it's entirety, i.e. make new drums, record and filmed etc everything from scratch (along with The Making Of: I'llBeDARN'd).

I didn't want to just throw out my old drumming footage, but the drums were completely different, thuerefore no longer had any relevance. Thus, I decided to include the smaller picture-in-picture clips so that they wouldn't go to waste (hence the longer hair).

Drum Talk:
The drums aren't difficult in this song. It's at a slow enough tempo, so you can see exactly what I doing without need for an explanation. My main focus was to keep the video light-hearted.

The was already a Cowbell and Tambourine in the original track, I just highlighted them (and changed their positioning etc) and made a few video gags from them.

The only noteworthy drumming is in the "breakbeat" part. The fast fill-in after that is 16th note triplets (or 32nd note triplets, whatever) with 8th note accents on the hi-hat.

I just wanna straight-up say that I do pre-write my drum parts for the studio environment, and if I went into the studio to record this remix with Mr. Fatboy Slim, these are the drums I would have played and recorded-ish.

I'd like to thank one of my best mates Ruairi Grew for helping me with the artwork, lighting, camera angles, video mastering, and teaching me how to do them so that I can competently do them by myself.

Tech talk:
There are no mics visible because I record the video and audio separately, and I think it's silly to have them out just "for show" because of numerous impracticality reasons. I also only own two cameras, so my performances are pieced together from multiple takes (usually two from each angle).

Also, no triggering, layering, or any of that fancy stuff was used. This is a 999% acoustically recorded mix that was recorded, mixed, mastered, filmed, edited, and mastered entirely by myself. I don't think it turned out woeful, but some people might disagree.
