How to cut Ubbink vent pipe for a Rinnai tankless heater.

Venting has been the number one question I have received from people that are not sure what to do. In my past video's I have shown the correct vent for the non condensing and the condensing Rinnai tankless heaters. the difference between the two is the non condensing Ubbink piping will have a metal inner pipe and the non condensing Ubbink piping will have a gray plastic pipe. If you using 3" PVC pipe on the CONDENSING UNIT ONLY it must be schedual 40 PVC or CPVE please consult the owners manual for footage and what to deduct for elbows and 45*. this holds true for the non condensing unites.
If you have a question you can look up the venting on Rinnais web site .Rinnai.us
this demo of the cutting of the Ubbink vent pipe is for the condensing and the non condensing piping.
you can cut the straight lengths 10", 19", 39" and the horizontal termination 11.5 and the 21". You can not cut the 90* ells the 45*. there is no reason to cut the vertical termination because you should be starting from the roof and working back to the Rinnai.
Please hire a licensed plumber to install your unit and please follow all plumbing and gas codes. file a permit with you local building dept. You can always fine a certified Rinnai installer on there wed site.
If you have a question please e mail me at.

Most of the time I will e mail you back with my phone number so we can go over your issue.
Thanks Mike and enjoy you endless hot water.
