తిరుమల తిరుపతి దేవస్థానం మాజీ ఛైర్మన్ భూమన కరుణాకర్ రెడ్డి చేసిన వ్యాఖ్యలపై ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ సాధు పరిషత్ తీవ్ర ఆగ్రహం వ్యక్తం చేసింది. తిరుమల పవిత్రతను రాజకీయాల కోసం వాడుకుంటున్నారని ఆరోపిస్తూ.. భూమన ఇంటిని ముట్టడిస్తామని, అవసరమైతే ఆమరణ నిరాహార దీక్షలకు దిగుతామని సాధువులు హెచ్చరించారు.

జయవిజయ విగ్రహాల అంశం, గోశాలలో ఆవుల మరణాలపై భూమన చేస్తున్న ఆరోపణలకు సాధు పరిషత్ కౌంటర్ ఇచ్చింది. ఆగమ శాస్త్రం ప్రకారమే అన్ని కార్యక్రమాలు జరిగాయని, సహజ కారణాలతో జరిగిన విషయాలకు రాజకీయ రంగు పులుముతున్నారని మండిపడింది.

తిరుమల వంటి పవిత్ర క్షేత్రాన్ని రాజకీయ వివాదాల్లోకి లాగవద్దని, కోట్లాది హిందువుల మనోభావాలతో ఆటలాడవద్దని సాధువులు హెచ్చరించారు.
