Identification of PCP-Related Compound Using NIST Hybrid Search and Chemistry/SciFinder

An example of the power of the NIST hybrid search in the identification of Unknown Drug Related Species. The NIST hybrid search was used to define the class of compounds, then accurate mass data, chemistry, and SciFinder searches used to narrow to 2 proposed structures. The exact identity was confirmed with a standard for mass spec and by NMR of the unknown.
