Replacing the water pump on a Lexus CT200h

Hello everyone and welcome to @AutoScholarwithMrB ! Today we are doing a quick water pump job on this 2013 Lexus CT200h. Any year CT200h will apply, along with the 2010-2016 Toyota Prius. This is an easy job that should take a little over an hour to do.

Be careful of the water pump you use for replacement. Make sure it is an authentic AISIN water pump. I have a link below to the correct pump if you are wanting to save money instead of using the dealer. This is the only pump I have ever used and I have never had one with problems.

Tools needed:
12mm socket, I used a deep well 1/4 inch drive on a ratchet
10mm socket for air box resonator removal
Flathead screwdriver
Torque wrench for 12mm bolts
Drain pan for coolant recovery

When removing the water pump, you will lose a little less than a gallon of coolant. I used Zerex 50/50 fomulated for Asian vehices but I normally use the factory coolant. If using full strength coolant, Toyota recommends the water used to be distilled.
