The Elephant Sanctuary | Building Trust: Dental Care

Elephants eat between 200 and 600 lbs of food each day. The Sanctuary's Husbandry Team performs regular check-ups to ensure the elephants' dental health — using a basic plumber’s camera to photograph their molars, which weigh about five pounds!
