Laminated Cedar Spiral Lamp from Two 2x4's

This project was prompted by the #two2x4challenge put on by the guys at the Modern Maker Podcast.

I wanted to create a piece that completely removed any evidence that it was made form 2x4’s. I also wanted to try an experiment with rubber bands and a cardboard concrete form for the lamination process. I’ve often wondered if it would work and this was my opportunity to find out. I’m very pleased with the outcome of this experiment /project and I hope you like it too.
