With the advent of AI, I’ve noticed how much my reading has changed, especially online. When I’m reading blogs or instgram posts or even newsletters from happy mail, I find myself asking, “was this written by a human? Or was this crafted by AI?” Not only do I want handmade art, I want writing from real people. I’m tired of reading AI slop, and I’m also tired of reading something for pleasure but also analyzing whether it was written by a real person. Maybe I’m taking it too seriously (I tend to be a rather intense person lol), but writing just doesn’t feel meaningful if it was written by AI.

Those thoughts have been swirling around my head, and since I’m such a writer at heart, I decided to include a typed monthly letter from me in every single mailing. It will be written by me, edited by me (enjoy any minor errors that aren’t corrected by AI:) and sent to my favorite printer. This month, I’ll actually be printing them at home on some beautiful paper I sourced, but next month the paper background will be originally painted by me, and it will be so cute to add to your journals (the front will include my letter and the back will not include any writing, but will just have the art print I made, which will be perfect to use as a background to your journals)!
