GS Tutorials - UCM: Outbound Routes
For this episode of GS Tutorial, we will be showing you how to configure your outbound routes.There's a lot to cover in this tutorial, so be sure to pause and go back if needed. Now lets get started!
So what we'll learn in today's video is how to control what happens when someone makes an outbound call.
Some items to ask yourself before you decide to make your outbound routes:
-How many digits are allowed to be dialed?
-Which trunk do you send the call to when someone dials a local number or any number?
-Do you want to restrict user access to a particular trunk?
-Does the user need to dial a prefix before dialing their 10 digit number.
-Does the user need to dial long distance? International?
