The Grand Bazaar, with its maze-like streets and passages, is one of the most popular and visited places, especially among tourists.

At the same time, it has the status of a kind of trade center of Istanbul. It is possible to find something for every taste and budget here.

Covering a total area of ​​47,000 m2, the Istanbul Grand Bazaar consists of 64 streets, 4,000 stores, 22 entrance gates and a series of labyrinths of streets, passages and corridors with 25,000 employees.

You can find almost everything in the Grand Bazaar, from traditional patterns to the best silky shawls and scarves, antiques, leather goods, ceramics, carpets, rugs, spices, Turkish delight and coffee varieties, handicrafts, gold and jewelery.

The Grand Bazaar is open between 10:00 and 16:00 except Sundays.

Transportation:
The most practical way to reach the Grand Bazaar is to use the Bağcılar-Kabataş tram line. 3-5 minutes walking distance when you get off at Beyazıt stop.
