Why do you need water shoes for the beach in Montenegro.
Firstly, the beaches themselves are often covered with small or even big stones, and it is difficult to get out of the sea.
Though i like this type of massage, many orefer having aquashoes on.
But the main thing is that sea urchins live in clean water. So, many beaches in Montenegro might have them. And stepping on one is very painful.
If you do step on it, a simple recipe would be to wash the wound, lubricate it with olive oil, take out with tweezers what you can get and let the remaining needles come out on their own. This may even take a couple of days.
If it is too painful, you can always go to the local Ambulance (Hitna pomoč) and they will help you out.
