The Rolex Yacht-Master initially languished in watch obscurity due to the lukewarm reception of the fanbase. Fast forward to 2020 and its now grown into one of the staples of the Rolex community. With everyone trying to get one, other companies are trying to ride the wave and are releasing homages to the Yacht-Master. Enter Omega. It is uncertain whether Omega intended the Seamaster Nekton 2020 to be a competing product to the Yacht-Master but it does provide a buyable alternative to Rolex luxury sports watch offering.
