The Future of Machining at NIAR Advanced Machining and Prototyping
Experience the future of machining at Wichita State University’s National Institute for Aviation Research (NIAR). The Modig RigiMill MG features an automated pallet system and robotic tool loading with capacity for up to 500 tools. With cutting speeds up to 1,200 inches per minute for aluminum and 55 inches per minute for titanium, and the ability to handle parts 61 inches by 32 inches with unlimited length, the possibilities are endless.
The Modig RigiMill MG is located at NIAR’s Advanced Machining and Prototyping (AMP) Lab in Park City.
