Earlier, I had asked the staff if the famous Wing Cabanas were available, but they told us they were closed for renovation.
So we assumed there weren’t any private rest spaces open.

My wife started dozing off in the lounge area. A Cathay lounge ambassador noticed, walked over softly, and asked:

“Would you like a private Day Suite?”

We didn’t even know the Pier had Day Suites still available.

They walked us into a quiet spa-like corridor and opened a private room:

🌬️ Silent, cool, calm
✨ A full reset between long-haul flights
