Line of Best Fit By Hand & Using Linear Regression Ti84

Learn how to approximate the line of best fit by hand as well as using the linear regression feature on a Ti-84 when given a set of points and/or a scatter plot. We discuss using two forms of the equation of a line: y=mx+b as well as y-y1=m(x-x1) and discuss how to find the y-intercept. We also discuss how to estimate and draw the line of best fit. We then show on the Ti-84 a step-by-step method for entering the data points and using the linear regression feature to get the equation of the line of best fit.
