Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this replacement single caster wheel assembly with mounting bracket for your Meyer HomePlow Snowplow. Now this is a genuine OEM replacement caster wheel assembly. And this is made specifically for your Meyer HomePlow Snowplow, so if you already have a HomePlow, and you need to replace a worn or damaged caster, this is going to be the exact factory part, not an aftermarket substitute. So that means that this is designed to fit and function just like that original one. This is going to attach directly to the pivot bar on the moldboard, the main curved blade of the plow, not to the A-frame underneath.

This is designed to be used as part of a two-caster setup. There are normally two of these mounted near the moldboard to support the plow when it's detached from your vehicle. As you probably know, the main benefit is convenience. When you take the plow off of your vehicle, these caster wheels will allow you to roll it smoothly across hard surfaces, like concrete or asphalt, instead of dragging it. That makes it much easier to move in position for storage.
