TO STUDY THE REACTIONS OF SODIUM HYDROXIDE WITH ALUMINIUM METAL AND HYDROCHLORIC ACID
Aluminium is an amphoteric element, meaning it interacts with acids and bases to form a salt and hydrogen. Exothermicity is strong in this process. In this experiment, the reaction of aluminium metal with an acid and a base which result in the production of hydrogen gas and from the experiment it gives an idea about the amphoteric nature of the aluminium metal.
