Dirty Cabbage and cornbread

Nothing fancy, just a warm hearty meal that always feels like home. 🤎✨

🥬 Dirty Cabbage Recipe:
• 1 head green cabbage, chopped
• 1 smoked sausage link, sliced
• 1 onion, diced
• 1 bell pepper, chopped
• 3–4 garlic cloves, minced
• Olive oil or butter
• Seasonings: salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, Cajun seasoning, and a pinch of red pepper flakes

Sauté the sausage first until browned, then add onions, peppers, and garlic. Toss in the cabbage, season generously, and let it cook down low and slow until tender and flavorful.

🌽 Cornbread on the side because… balance.
My go-to: cornbread mix, eggs, milk, melted butter, and a little honey for sweetness. Bake until golden brown and serve warm.
