A Day Living with Diabetes

Anna McLean is an 11 year old living with Type 1 diabetes. Many people think that if you watch what you eat and get exercise, you can avoid diabetes. This is simply not true.
Anna was diagnosed at 7 years of age. There was no way around her contracting this chronic illness. She now lives with it every day until a cure is found.
