If you’ve read Bono's sleeve notes for Songs of Experience you’ll have understood a little more more about where he was coming from as the lyrical themes on the new album emerged.

The band invited filmmaker and photographer Matt Mahurin to work with Jacknife Lee on a short film to capture some of those ideas visually and mark the release of Songs of Experience.

The result is Liner Notes - a film by Matt Mahurin, narrated by Bono. Premiering on Apple Music last month.
