♦ Sims 2 vs Sims 3 vs Sims 4 : Life (Part 3)

Hello people!

This is the last part of the life comparisons. This video covers adulthood, starting from teens going all the way up to elders.

Please keep in mind I'm only talking about base game content.

And yes, generations in the Sims 3 sure was a great expansion to enrich all life stages but it's still an extra that came years after the game's release date and it's just unfair to Sims 4 if I talk about expansions.

So here we are, the last of life. There's just so much to cover I hope I didn't miss anything. From the teen revels to the relaxed elders Sims sure offer quite the life simulator. Most stages are the same in the big picture, teens have to attend school, adults are the only ones with the freedom of getting a job and woohoo all they want while elders just want to retire, but as always, it's the details that count.

My opinion?

For teens I'd say Sims 2. I'm just gonna say it, Sims 3's teens look plain weird, and their curfew is too strict. In Sims 4 teens have too much freedom, they're almost like young adults, and don't get me started on their looks. Sims 2 seems to be the one who did the job just right balancing freedom and restrictions.

I'd say this one's tricky since it's 3-4 life stages and they each have good details but if I were to chose one it'd be Sims 2. I see the Young Adult as an unnecessary life-stage, sure it seems logical to not have a teen grow into a mature person in just one day but I really wish they'd make them have more differences, I had to look all over the place to find differences and at least in my game I proved most of those to be false except 2, seems like a life stage wasted if you ask me... Specially for Sims 4.
But then again, it's just my opinion.
