Not your ordinary pods

While you’re in your bubbles, how’s about a video about pods. Not the chocolate pods you eat – now that’s making us hungry - but a pod carrying the seeds of native trees. It might sound far-fetched, but before lockdown put us all into bubbles, these pods were being flung from a drone over the Hūnua Ranges into an old pine forest. This is a cheaper and faster way to plant native trees than by hand, and the technology could change how we revegetate land in the future.
