These are some of my Lyft Ambassador tips on how I get new passengers:

Tip 1. Passing out your referral code to all the local bars, club, and events to people that need a ride home.

Tip 2. Street teaming - gather up with a group of friends to pass out your referral codes around large events like concert, festivals, & sporting events.

Tip 3. Refer your friends, family, & coworkers. Not many people know about Lyft as much as they know Uber. Help them out by giving them a free ride. Before someone else does!

Tip 4. Messaging the admins running big Facebook events and pages. You never know... You can get your code shared in front of thousands of people.

Tip 5. Use the Pokemon app to help you promote your code. This app is very popular and makes people walk a lot. Sometimes they walked to far and don't want to walk back home. Save them by giving them your Free Lyft promo code, which will give them a free ride home.

So you are a Lyft or Uber driver, don't wait around your car when it is slow. Park your car and start to promote this will give you more opportunity to make more money! Being a Lyft Ambassador gives you more ways to make money other than driving.
