Who doesn't love using and reducing their scrap collection? As shown uses 12 blocks that are joined in an unique pattern. The video shows a variety of different layouts before I came back to this one. Each block measures 4" finished and are joined 4 across and 3 down for a size of 16 x 12" when finished.
Very easy to produce this fun design (the final project is a series of place mats, but make as many as you want to repeat the pattern into a larger project.

Fabric per set of 2 blocks (the following will produce 2 blocks) - see the video, it will make sense:
2 @ 2.5 x 4.5"
4 @ 2.5 x 2.5"
OR substitute using a variety of 4.5” blocks that appearance won’t be quite as scrappy but will be beautiful
Cut as shown and join using
2 @ 1 x 10-12" strip (dark) per two blocks

At this time I have not formalized a written pattern, but look for this at a future date on my website as a downloadable PDF.
