Installing 4" diesel exhaust on my 1990 Silverado K2500

Follow along as I build a Y pipe for my truck and adapt it to a 4" single exhaust system from Diamond Eye Performance. I'm an oddball, I know. Most guys go with dual exhaust on pickups. I can achieve better exhaust scavenging with single. This truck is loud now. It would be louder with dual exhaust. Think of it like a speaker. 2 speakers are louder than one. But I'm not out to build the loudest truck that I can. I am looking for max performance. Single 3" exhaust will only support 370-380hp before it starts to choke the flow. I had single 3" but the stock tailpipe bends were crush bent so it was actually smaller. This is a mandrel bent 4" single system with no muffler. The y pipe is mandrel 3" with a flowmaster 3 into 4 y pipe.
