Stethoscopes - which should YOU buy?

There are so many choices...which should YOU buy? In this video we ask actual students, nurses, nurse practitioners, and doctors as to what they would buy and why.

Bottom line: Littmann seems to be the preferred brand of MOST providers in our emergency department. You need something comfortable and lightweight for every day use.

If you have hearing issues or you work in noisy environments then you need a digital stethoscope that can amplify the sound. The Stethoscope Littmann 3100 you can get in amazon for under $400.
