Berjaya Food remains in the red with RM14mil quarterly loss
Berjaya Food Bhd has posted a net loss of RM14.32 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2026, marking its 10th consecutive quarter in the red.
The company said costs and expenses continued to outpace modest revenue growth.
The loss was narrower compared with RM37.19 million in the same quarter last year, reflecting cost‑control measures and store closures.
Revenue rose 4.9 per cent year‑on‑year to RM119.14 million, driven mainly by overseas operations.
Despite the losses, Berjaya Food remains optimistic, actively shutting underperforming domestic outlets while expanding internationally.
The group is also strengthening brands such as Paris Baguette and Krispy Kreme as part of its turnaround strategy.
